The ground floor of The Blacksmith Bar is available for groups – large and small – for group bookings and more casual functions. Groups are welcome to reserve an area, with no minimum spend or venue hire fee. Function catering can be arranged, and we can start a bar tab or beverage package for your group as well. For those wanting a more casual function where guests purchase their own drinks throughout the night – this is fine too!
This option is perfect for casual birthdays, work drinks etc. where you don’t require your own separate area. If you are looking for a private space, check out our Private Function Room.

What is the minimum spend?
We offer group bookings and reservations in this space with no minimum spend or fee. Guests are welcome to purchase their own drinks throughout the night.
How many guests can I have?
The space is licensed for 100 people.
Timing for functions?
Our opening hours are Weds-Fri 5pm onwards, and Sat-Sun 2pm onwards. However, if you’re wanting to hold a day time function please let us know as alternative timings can be accommodated on request.
Can I have a bar tab?
Absolutely! A bar tab or beverage package can be arranged, or guests can purchase their own drinks.
Can I decorate?
We do not allow anything stuck to a painted surface, no confetti or glitter and no open flames or candles other than birthday candles. Any other decorations are welcomed.
Can I have underage guests?
You may, as long as our underage policy is met.
Can I bring my own cake?
Yes you may.
Is there a smoking area?
There is smoking permitted on our outdoor tables and chairs at the front of the venue.
When can I view the space?
To book an appointment to view the space, please contact us via email or phone us directly 0448 006 006. We can take viewing appointments Monday-Friday between 9am to 6pm. We can arrange an after hours or weekend appointment if required.
Alternatively, the venue is open Weds-Fri from 5pm onwards, or Sat-Sun from 2pm onwards so you are also welcome to pop in and view the space at your leisure.
